The 2024 cycling season is upon us, and that means we'll soon start seeing the teams come up with new jerseys for the upcoming year. In this article, IDLProCycling.com keeps track of all the WorldTour jerseys that have been confirmed for this next cycling season.
Arkéa - B&B Hotels
Emmanuel Hubert's team is pleased to welcome B&B Hotels as a new sponsor for 2024, which naturally comes with a fresh kit. A whole marketing campaign is attached to it, as the shirt has been dubbed 'Excalibur'. This is the name of the famous Breton sword from the Arthurian legends, but now also the name of the jersey that will be worn by Arkéa - B&B Hotels in 2024. "This 2024 vintage ‘breathes’ our origin," says team manager Hubert in the press release that the team issued specifically for this announcement.
Bahrain Victorious
The team from the Middle East has definitively chosen a different color for 2024. They already raced in a white jersey in the Tour de France, and with great success! The team won three stages there. The traditional red has now been replaced by a white jersey, with golden accents. On their website, it is mentioned that the 'pearl white' color symbolizes the fertile seas around Bahrain. It is also worth noting that #rideforGino will remain on the jersey for the coming season. This way, the riders continue to race with their late teammate Gino Mader in their hearts.
Cofidis
The French teams traditionally unveil their jerseys and team presentations for 2024 early. Cofidis has been active in the cycling peloton for many years and has been racing in a red kit for several seasons, with annual changes and updates. In early December, they presented their attire for the upcoming season.
Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale
On November 27, the French team AG2R La Mondiale was the first to confirm their jerseys for 2024. The team, led by Vincent Lavenu, announced Decathlon as their new major sponsor that day, which naturally comes with a new jersey. They are moving away from their famous blue shorts, which will be replaced by black ones. The upper jerseys are blue and white.
dsm-firmenich PostNL
The full kit has not yet been officially revealed, but at the announcement of the partnership between dsm-firmenich and PostNL, we got a sort of sneak peek that we don't want to keep from you in this overview. Pim Berendsen (CFO of PostNL), Iwan Spekenbrink (CEO of Team dsm-firmenich), Herna Verhagen (CEO of PostNL) and Dimitri de Vreeze (CEO of dsm-firmenich) posed with a fresh blue-white-orange jersey, the contours of which may also be visible in the peloton next season. However, it must be emphasized: this has not been confirmed yet.
INEOS Grenadiers
In terms of color scheme, the new kit of INEOS Grenadiers - the team that includes riders like Geraint Thomas, Tom Pidcock and Thymen Arensman - hasn't changed drastically. The jerseys are a bit more orange-tinted than last year, back when the combination was red and black. However, the British multimillion-dollar team has also switched clothing manufacturers, going from Bioracer to Gobik.
UAE-Team Emirates
The UAE-Team Emirates of Tadej Pogacar is set to unveil its new look for 2024 next week, and of course, stylish kits are part of the presentation. The Italian brand has enlisted Pogacar and his companion Tim Wellens for the unveiling of the jersey, which, with its pristine white, somewhat resembles Real Madrid's look. Naturally, the colors of the United Arab Emirates are also featured, while another change is the introduction of a white helmet.
