Stage 1, Monday, April 17th: Rattenberg - Alpbach (127.5 km)
Jack Haig (Bahrain Victorious) and Hugh Carthy (EF-Education EasyPost) attacked during the tough finale of the first stage, but Tao Geoghegan Hart (INEOS Grenadiers) took the victory. The Englishman passed his compatriot Carthy in the final meters. Felix Gall (AG2R Citroën Team) finished second, two seconds behind.
